Main Features

The T-eye is a "black box" that has been designed for trucks, busses and cars. It is unlike other recording systems that require large in-vehicle hard-disks and expensive cameras and other equipment. The T-eye drive recorder is used to record location, speed, g-force, video and audio data in a continuous first in first out loop fashion straight on to the built-in SD-card.You simply attach the unit with the supplied clamp to the back of the rear-view mirror, and plug it in to the cigarette lighter and away you go. The unit will automatically start up whenever it gets power through the cigarette lighter, so you never have to worry about remembering to turn it on. You can also choose to rather hard wire the unit on to the dash of the vehicle and get power wired in by an auto-electrician.If the vehicle is involved in an accident where there were high g-forces recorded, the data will then be marked and stored onto the SD card in a separate location so that it can not be over-written. The software used to view the information is stored directly on the SD-card, so you simply put the card in to a SD card reader (standard on most laptops, but one can be provided) and double click on the file to view it. • Continuous recording
  The video and audio data from the front and interior views is continuously recorded while connected to power. When the capacity of the SD card has been reached, the older files are overwritten by the latest file.

• Pre and post event recording
  When an impact or unusual acceleration or deceleration is detected by the built-in G-Sensor or one activates the emergency record button, the recorded video data is locked-in and is erased only by an authorized party. Event data records 1 minute before and 1minute after. (User may set pre-event time to 1, 2 or 3 minutes). Stored event recording data in the SD card will not be erased unless the user cancels the event (in-car), or the files are erased by the person reviewing the SD card.
   
• Assistance with Insurance claims
  Quite a few of our current customers have reported that the system assisted them in their defence in court. A lot of cases are based on a "My word against his" basis, which means that you end up paying for something that you didnt do.
   
• Night View Recording with Infra-Red Light
  The included IR (Infra-Red) Light module (with adjustment) is used by the inward facing camera (ADR-3000 only) to record data in dark situations inside the vehicle.

• Playback of video/audio data
  The recorded data can be played back using the provided playback software which is found on the SD card. The record resolution is 640x480. Maximum 20 frames per second for each channels. (Max 20 fps @ VGA)

• Data Analysis
  The recorded data can be easily analyzed for speed, vehicle location and direction of travel including impact by using the T-eye player that is found on the supplied SD card.

  The system can also be used for Driver Training purposes.
  
   
• Save video of unusual driving habits
  Internal accelerometer marks the last minute before the rapid change in driving patterns and continues to record for another minute after the incident detection.

  Built-in GPS marks location as well as vehicle speed video.

  Manual pushbutton allows drivers to record 1 minute before button activation after of any observed incidents that need to be flagged or saved for review.
